CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, Depth) is used to measure the electrical conductivity, temperature and depth of three basic physical parameters of water. Based on these three parameters, you can also calculate various other physical parameters, such as sound velocity and density. Thermo-salt depth gauges are necessary equipment for marine surveys and the most critical and basic instruments for marine surveys.

Calibration system of high-precision thermo-salt depth gauge

After more than two years of exploration, in May 2019, Daowan built a high-precision temperature and salt depth instrument calibration system. Through the operation of two-level temperature control water tank, the temperature control accuracy reached ± 0.00175 ℃, thus ensuring the sensor High-precision calibration. In the next step, the company is about to develop a set of thermostatic water bath with temperature control accuracy of ± 0.0002 ℃ to meet the needs of higher precision product calibration.
